Sonar Music

An identity system for Sonar Music, developed through an exploration of rhythm, structure, and signal. The work begins as a typographic exploration, drawing from the visual language of MIDI grids, patch bays, and modular synthesis — systems where information is organised through repetition, sequencing, and variation. These references inform a mono-pixel type system, constructed as a precise and modular framework, complete with a full (and largely unseen) letter set (A-Z). The system extends naturally into three dimensions, where its rigid geometry is expressed through extrusion, depth, and light.
